This version 2.3 includes the Flash Player 7 version checker to insure a smooth user experience for users that do not have the latest Flash 7 Player.
The included source code in .FLA file format can be modified in the Flash 2004 authoring environment as well as the included php source code.
This version uses 2 swf files, both are under 5KB in size, to dynamically pass the url of the flv file to a larger or fullscreen pop-up window which is defined in the player.php file as javascript variables that you can modify easily and control the size of the pop-up larger player window. We used the new ContextMenuItem class in Flash Player 7 to allow users access to the Flash Player 7 settings and the about Macromedia links as well as a link back to videospark.com or yoursite. The right click menu now has FLV movie controls built into the menu to preserve real estate on the player. The pop-up player swf file has an extra right click menu option to allow a user to close the pop-up window and the first swf file has a right-clickable screen which opens the larger sized player window as well as stop the smaller video from playing to avoid a user listening to 2 different videos at the same time. We also added a loading bar for those users who are not yet on broadband which shows the filename being loaded for playing. We included a readme.txt file and sample Flash FLV Video files generated using Sorensen Squeeze and sample iFrame code to easily add the Dynamic FLV Video Player to your website.
